Nicole Lindgren, a member of the Spouses Club on base, baked nearly 500 cookies for the annual cookie drive on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., Dec. 1, 2017. In addition to baking almost 500 cookies, Lindgren reached out to the community and received over 150-dozen more donations of muffins, popcorn balls and other assorted cookies. April is Sexual Assault Prevention Awareness Month
Senior Airman Edic Moreno, 319th Services Squadron, places a yellow ribbon with the name of his former supervisor, Tech. Sgt. Steven Fry, 319 SVS, who is currently deployed on the tree of integrity, strength and hope at the community activity center April 17 during the art expressions event sponsored by the base Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office. The event is to artistically express ideas and experiences take a stand and make a difference in creating a more caring and loving community for Sexual Assault Prevention Awareness Month.
