    The Book Club meets one Saturday each month at the Base Library. (511 Holzapple St, Grand Forks AFB, N.D. 58205, USA).

  • Book Club Baddies

    Book Club Baddies is a low maintenance and no pressure book club aimed towards those of us who love to read but can only seem to fit one book a month into our busy lives.  We offer zoom meetings to discuss the books, but we also post discussion threads in the group if you can't make the session and still want to participate.  We switch up the genre monthly and vote on which book we will be reading that month.   • Soccer Club

    Pick-up soccer games take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Saturday if it's the first Friday) from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. 

    Games played in the GFAFB Fitness Center Field House.  All games are open to public, no cleats allowed.

  • Sportsmen's Club

    The Sportsmen’s Club strives to get likeminded individuals connected to spend time in the outdoors.  The club communicates utilizing a Facebook page.  The club is looking to try and host a few events this coming year such as a kid’s day, fishing tournament, and hopefully an ice fishing outing.  The Facebook is also used to post extra spots for trips or adventures and to share information and experience.

  • Volleyball Club

    Pick-up games take play the first and third Saturdays from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 

    Games are played in the GFAFB Fitness Center indoor volleyball courts. Games are all played as casual, come-and-go style volleyball gameplay.

  • Grand Forks AFB Spouses' Club

    The Grand Forks AFB Spouses' Club is a volunteer-run, all branches, all ranks, spouses' group. Our membership is open to all local military spouses who are Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, or retired and anyone, regardless of relationship status who wants to better the GFAFB community. We are also honored to extend membership to Gold Star spouses and spouses of visiting Allied Forces.

    We are also a registered non-profit and are dedicated to give back to service members, their families, and our community through service and outreach, hosting regular activities, and events for our members and supporters, and by providing welfare grants and scholarships to those within our local community.

  • GFAFB Drop-In Hockey Club

    This is a group for ice hockey players of all skill levels to meet at the base rink a few times a week and play pick-up games.

  • Writer's Club

    The Writer's Club is an opportunity for writers, both military and civilian, assigned to Grand Forks Air Force Base to come together and discuss writing techniques, projects they are working on and other writing-related topics.

    Club meets at the Base Library the second Saturday of the month and the second-to-last Saturday of the month from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

  • Hispanic Heritage Club

    The Hispanic Heritage Club at Grand Forks AFB is an all embracing club that welcomes members of all cultural backgrounds, to include active-duty members, dependents, and civilians with base access.

    Our goal as a group is to build connection and create community within the base by sharing culture through mediums such as music, language, and cuisine. We host social events throughout the year and during Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15) exploring the many traditions and experiences of Hispanic-American culture and the world around us.

  • Grand Forks AFB Neurospicy Spouses

    This group is a safe place to talk and hangout for Grand Forks AFB Spouses who are Neurodivergent.  

    This includes but is not limited to Autism, ADD/ADHD, OCD, PTSD and c-PTSD, PDA, Schizoaffective disorders, DID, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, epilepsy, dyslexia, dyscalculia, APD, learning and/or developmental disabilities.  

    Join "Grand Forks AFB Neurospicy Spouses" on Facebook where you will be welcome to post, rant, share funny memes, or anything you want, really.  There are no specific meetings or meet ups at this time.  

    *Please note this group is only for the adults who are Neurodivergent.

  • Grand Forks Civil Air Patrol

    “Volunteers serving America's communities, saving lives, and shaping futures.”
    Civil Air Patrol is America’s premier public service organization for carrying out emergency services and disaster relief missions nationwide. As the auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, CAP’s vigilant citizen volunteers are there to search for and find the lost, provide comfort in times of disaster, and work to keep the homeland safe. Its 56,000 members selflessly devote their time, energy, and expertise toward the well-being of their communities, while also promoting aviation and related fields through aerospace education and helping shape future leaders through CAP’s cadet program.

    The Grand Forks AFB Grappling Club meets weekly in the Fitness Center grappling/MMA room. Everyone is welcome, parents/legal guardians must accompany minors.

    Disciplines include:
    - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
    - Wrestling
    - Grappling

    Meetings are:
    - Tuesdays beginning at 4:00pm
    -  Friday beginning at 4:00 pm
    - Sunday beginning at 3:30pm
