Betty Welsh, spouse of Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Welsh, III, attended a Resiliency Reflection Tea Nov. 26, 2013, at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Respondents were asked to write about where they find the source of their strength, and what keeps them resilient. Mrs. Welsh focused her visit to the base on the spouse’s perspective of military service, the importance of respect and professionalism in the service, and the vital role of resiliency.
