Betty Welsh, spouse of Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Welsh, III, attended a Resiliency Reflection Tea Nov. 26, 2013, at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. The event was framed around an essay campaign that was opened up to civilian spouses of military members on base earlier this year. Respondents were asked to write about where they find the source of their strength, and what keeps them resilient.
