Col. Kathleen Concannon, commander of the 319th Medical Group here, is proud to announce the 319 MDG has been accredited for three years by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

"This is an important milestone in the continuing growth and success of our health care organization," said Colonel Concannon. "We have had an unwavering commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care to our patients, and the same high level of conduct in our business practices. Accreditation by the AAAHC is proof of this commitment, and signifies we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally recognized third party."

Upon notifying the commander of the unit's accreditation status, Dr. Roy Grekin, the Accreditation Association President, commented, "Achieving accreditation demands a high level of dedication and effort. The 319th Medical Group is to be commended for this accomplishment."

"The men and women of the 319th Medical Group are proud of the health care they deliver and of the strong ties they share with the local Grand Forks community," added Colonel Concannon. "Through our partnership, we ensure a robust continuum of care for our more than 8,000 enrolled beneficiaries."

According to the colonel, the status as an AAAHC accredited organization allows the 319 MDG to provide an extra measure of confidence to the community.

"We are proud to have met the challenge of accreditation, and intend to consistently uphold the principles of quality improvement and quality care in the future," she said.
