Basil Nosal a few goodies and information on creating an emergency preparedness kit Sept. 25, 2014, in the Exchange parking lot on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Airmen from the 319th CES EMF raised awareness about National Preparedness Months by set up static displays with EMF vehicles and information booths at the Exchange September 25-26. They spoke to dozens of Exchange patrons that included uniformed personnel, dependents and retirees. National Preparedness Month is a part of a governmental effort to strengthen the United States' preparedness capabilities. The national preparedness architecture encompasses prevention, protection, response, and recovery efforts to prepare the United States for all hazards – whether terrorist attack or natural disaster.
