Former military working dog Nick/J252, gets a back rub from one of his new masters Oct. 6 at Heritage Hall on Grand Forks Air Force Base. Nick was stationed at Grand Forks AFB for four years before he was medically retired. During Nick’s military career, he has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and also supported U.S. secret service missions protecting heads of states and the President of the United States.
