319th AMXS commander relinquishes command

Members of the 319th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron gives Lt. Col. Cory Miike, 319th AMXS commander, his final salute during the 319th AMXS relinquishment of command ceremony at Grand Forks Air Force Base Oct. 14. The ceremony is a time-honored tradition in the military, which visibly assures continuity of command. The 319th AMXS, which is part of the 319th Air Refueling Wing, was established in Feb. 1957 and this ceremony marks a near end to a 53-year legacy of tanker aircraft at Grand Forks AFB.
