Sparky the Fire Dog

Col. Tim Bush, 319th Air Base Wing commander, shakes hands with Sparky the Fire Dog – the fire safety advocate and spokesdog for the National Fire Protection Association - on Oct. 11 at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. Col. Bush signed the 2011 Fire Prevention Week Proclamation effective Oct. 9 to Oct. 15, ensuring the safety and security of all those living, working and visiting the base.
