Nearly 250 family members got a glimpse of life as a deployed Airman at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., Family Deployment Line on Oct. 20, 2012, sponsored by the Airman & Family Services Flight. The purpose of the event was to give families the opportunity to show children ages 3-16 a firsthand look at what Airmen experience when preparing for a deployment.
