Airman 1st Class Nikolai Smirnoff, from on Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., was named the Air Mobility Command Financial Management Airman of the Quarter (first quarter 2013). Smirnoff earned the award through exceptional leadership and job performance, including devoting 120 hours of overtime ensuring 320 civilians were paid correctly and on time. He was also the lead for AMC civilian audit readiness testing, reviewing 50 payroll accounts and finishing the task three days ahead of schedule.
