Airman 1st Class Nikolai Smirnoff of the 319th Comptroller Squadron is this week’s Warrior of the Week. Smirnoff, a native of Yekaterinburg, Russia, until he immigrated to the United States and adopted Minneapolis, Minn., as his new hometown, said he loves “meeting new people and helping them out, while providing quality service.” He said his desire to succeed in the Air Force comes from a deeply rooted desire to make his family proud.
