Eligible Airmen may now apply for nuclear deterrence medal
Airmen who meet eligibility criteria may now submit an application for the newly approved Nuclear Deterrence Operations Service Medal, Air Force officials announced. Eligibility is retroactive to Dec. 27, 1991 for active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, retired and separated Airmen and family of deceased Airmen.
