Col. Eric D. Steele
Col Eric D. Steele is the Commander, 319th Operations Group, 319th Reconnaissance Wing, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. He is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and training of the Air Force’s worldwide RQ-4B Global Hawk and E-11A aircraft and personnel. The Group consists of five operational squadrons and one maintenance squadron to train, maintain, and employ the RQ-4B (Block 40) Radar Technology Insertion Program (RTIP) and E-11A Battlefield Airborne Communication Node (BACN) aircraft in support of President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, and global Combatant Commander national security requirements. Celebrating a century of game-changers: B-52s and KC-135s scheduled to fly over Grand Forks
The East Leg of the flight formation will flyover the University of North Dakota at approximately 3:15 p.m., continue to Grand Forks International Airport at approximately 3:20 p.m. and end at Grand Forks Air Force Base at approximately 3:30 p.m., and will include two KC-135 Stratotankers and two B-52 Stratofortress aircraft.
