The Storm Ready program is designed to help arm communities with the communication and safety skills needed to save lives and property before and during a severe weather event. Grand Forks AFB is currently the only military installation certified as Storm Ready in the state of North Dakota and one of three bases designated as such in Air Mobility Command.
