Airmen from the 319th Reconnaissance Wing greet pilots from the 37th Bomb Squadron out of Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, upon their arrival to Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, Dec. 5, 2024. This was the first of 17 B-1Bs scheduled to temporarily relocate to Grand Forks AFB beginning this month. Aircraft maintenance professionals will conduct day-to-day inspections and repairs to ensure the B-1B fleet is safe for flight, and large-scale, scheduled maintenance activities will be performed at the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess AFB, Texas.
