319th Air Base Wing Commander Col. Benjamin Spencer cuts the ribbon on the renovated Army & Air Force Exchange Service exchange during a grand reopening celebration August 10th alongside AAFES Central Regional Vice President Larry Salgado, Exchange General Manager Annette Montgomery, and 319th Air Base Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant Brian Thomas. Grand Forks AFB chapel team named best in the Air Force for 2013
The 319th Air Base Wing Chaplain Office was recently named the recipient of the recognized as the recipient of the 2013 Robert P. Taylor Award for Small Active-Duty Chapels. The Robert P. Taylor Award is given to the best wing/installation chapel staff in the Air Force serving an active-duty military population of fewer than 3,000. The prestigious, annual award winner is selected based on the strategic priorities of warrior care, advisement to leadership, and care for Chaplain Corps caregivers. Grand Forks AFB civilian wins AMC legal services award
Marie L. Aubrey, 319th Air Base Wing legal assistant, was recently named the winner of the 2012 Harold R. Vague Award for Civilian Outstanding Legal Services for Air Mobility Command.
