Tech. Sgt. Mark Hopkins, 319th Civil Engineer Squadron, suffered a motorcycle accident May 27, 2012 that nearly ended his life. The wreck had ruptured and shattered the left side of his skull, causing his brain to bleed, his eardrums to burst, and a fracture to his left eye socket.
