A&FRC hosts 4th Annual Soup Supper

AAFES unveils the newly renovated BX

319th LRS vehicle operations announces change in hours of operation
The 319th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle operations will change their hours of operation beginning Dec. 13. Office hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and stand-by hours will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. If you need to contact vehicle operations during stand-by hours, call the Command Post at (701) 747-6711. Operation Warmheart
Support your Grand Forks Air Force Base First Sergeant Council by buying A&W, 7-Up, Welch’s Sunkist, Squirt, RC, Diet Rite and Snapple from Hugo’s in Grand Forks, N.D., now through Dec. 4. For every six and 12 packs sold, 20 cents will be donated and for every two-liter of soda purchased, 10 cents will be donated to the Operation Warmheart fund. 319th AMXS donates flag to ALS
The copper and stainless steel American flag sculpture was donated to the Grand Forks Air Force Base Airman Leadership School by the 319th Maintenance Group during a ceremony Nov. 4 at the ALS building. The 319th MXG donated the flag sculpture to the school because the maintainers wanted to leave a piece of their heritage behind as the 319th Air Refueling Wing mission continues to draw down.

Outdoor track officially opens

Every dog has his day
Former military working dog Nick/J252, gets a back rub from one of his new masters Oct. 6 at Heritage Hall on Grand Forks Air Force Base. Nick was stationed at Grand Forks AFB for four years before he was medically retired. During Nick’s military career, he has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and also supported U.S. secret service missions protecting heads of states and the President of the United States.
