Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

Serving our nation is important to me because we fight for our freedom. Many people take freedom for granted and don't realize how much it means to other people in different countries.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?

As a Warrior of the North the moment I am most proud of was getting awarded my Community College of the Air Force degree as an Airman 1st Class, due to the fact that I am the last member out of four siblings to earn a college degree.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is helping people. I like teaching and instructing others and those who do not understand a particular subject or topic. Knowing that they know more now is a great feeling of accomplishment.

Who inspires you and why?

My wife Amy, inspires me every day. She has been there for me through thick and thin. She has strong determination to get what needs to be done no matter what obstacles she faces.

I come from a small town of only 2,200 people. The small town atmosphere in Grand Forks reminds me of home.
