Why is serving with the Air Force and its Airmen important to you?
In my family, you learned early to always help your neighbors. Although I don't put on the uniform, I still feel a great sense of pride in helping the Airmen accomplish their mission. I make every effort to ensure that their needs are met whether that is assisting with paperwork, helping families while the member is deployed or just making sure that questions are answered.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
The accomplishment I am most proud of is being the United States Air Force's nominee and recipient of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Roy Wilkins Renown Service Award in 2009. It was a testament to my family's faith, love, support and guidance over the years which allowed me to receive the award. I am who I am because of my immediate family and the Air Force.

What is your favorite part of your job?
The people I work with and those that visit the 319th Mission Support Group are my favorite part of my job. For those that know me, they know I love being able to help people. I want everyone that leaves the 319th MSG to feel like they have received all the assistance they needed and had all their issues, questions or concerns dealt with in a satisfactory, professional and courteous manner.

Who inspires you and why?
My children and my family are my inspiration. They are so supportive and I always strive to make them proud of me.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
Once again, it's the people. I have made some lifelong friends here in Grand Forks, both on base and in the community. My life has been enriched by them being in it.
