Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I feel it's my duty as an American to serve in the military. It's also important to me that I serve because my grandfathers served and I think it would make them proud.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of my time at Honor Guard. I get to honor the men and women who served in past wars and those who stood ready during peace time. It means a lot to me personally to be in the Honor Guard because when I saw the Honor Guard team who performed the military honors at my grandfather's funeral, I felt a rush of pride as a military member and wanted to do what they did one day.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is performing military honors. I enjoy it because I get to pay my respect to veterans and represent the Air Force at every funeral function I do.

Who inspires you and why?
My grandfather, Clarence Johnson, inspires me, because he was a hardworking man who served his country with honor and did all he could to provide for his family; I try to do things that I think would make him proud.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
The First thing that made me think Grand Forks was a cool place was the fact that we're pretty close to Devils Lake and the fishing there is great!
