1. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Being a father of four beautiful children makes me a role model. I serve proudly and honorably because I want to set a good example to them and to the people I meet every day. The military is a respected profession and I strive to honor that.

2. What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
This might sound a little silly, but the accomplishment that stands out most for me is simply making someone's day. Working in the clinic gives me plenty of opportunities to do this. When a patient leaves my office with a smile, I feel accomplished.

3. What is your favorite part of your job?
The people! Plain and simple I must say, but the people I work with, for, and around make each day worth its weight in gold.

4. Who or what inspires you and why?
In my office I have many military items. My retired father's shadow box, my grandfather's D-Day Invasion Purple Heart plaque, even my mom's Hometown News Release from when she enlisted. Knowing that I am following in the footsteps of my relatives brings me great pride.

5. What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
This is my second assignment to Grand Forks AFB and I'm actually on a controlled five year tour. This base reminds me of a small town, where everyone knows your name. I love the base due to the family feel and I've witnessed so much compassion from the members on base in times of need. I also love snow!
