Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force gives me a sense of purpose. It's like being part of a bigger entity. Everything that you do in the Air Force matters and affects people within in it and across nations.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
My greatest moment and accomplishment is being able to come back to the squadron that I love and being able to serve Airmen in a civilian capacity. I was in the military for 20 months and then I decided to separate. Luckily there was a job opening in the squadron as a Unit Program Coordinator.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love organizing. The cornerstone of a Unit Program Coordinators job requires organizational skills and time management. I help file personal information of more than 198 people in the squadron and assist with more than six Air Force programs in the squadron. That is why I like this job; I am able to apply those skills into this job.

Who inspires you and why?
My mother, Eulalia Huaman Delgado is my rock. She has taught me everything I know and I aspire to be just like her. My mother's wisdom is always present in every decision I make. She taught me the most important core values before I joined the Air Force; Integrity, Service before Self and Excellence in all we do. The Air Force reinforces those values in me.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base is a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
Let's start by saying that this is not my assignment of choice, but this place has grown on me. After being here for almost two years, I have come to love Grand Forks AFB. Since it feels like we are in a remote location, the Grand Forks community tends to be friendlier and I feel like part of the family.
