Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it provides me the ability to continue my education while knowing in full confidence I can support my family while doing so.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
The accomplishment I'm most proud of as a Warrior of the North is when I earned my associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force. I joined the military to continue my education, and reaching the first milestone for my education was huge for me.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is having the satisfaction of watching an aircraft I've spent time working on takeoff for a mission. It is great seeing the finished product of my efforts on a day-to-day basis.

How do you apply the wing commander's principles of 'passion, proficiency and professionalism'?
I apply passion, proficiency and professionalism by making sure I work hard every day to get the job done. There is always a challenge of exceeding expectations, and I try to meet that challenge daily.

Who or what inspires you and why?
I'm inspired by my wife and kids. Every day that I see them I know that they're the reason I do what I do.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
There were actually two things that made me think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place. The first thing was the very first time I saw a sun dog. I looked at it in the sky, and at that moment I felt my nose go from runny to frozen. The second thing was when I picked up the keys to my house, and realized that all of my neighbors are working in some way to support each other's job.
