Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I get a sense that I am contributing something to the war against terrorism and to my country.

What accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
Winning the John L. Levitow Award during my time at Airman Leadership School is the accomplishment I am most proud of. It is the highest award presented to a graduate of Air Force Enlisted Professional Military Education, and in a class of 14 students it was an honor to receive this award.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Coming to work every day and working with a great group of people as well as dealing with the challenges that come with air traffic control.

Who inspires you and why?
My wife inspires me more than anyone. She served nine years in the Air Force and is able to help me with many situations that I am unsure how to handle. She always supports me and encourages me to do my best.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
Working in the second busiest RAPCON (Radar Approach Control) in the Air Mobility Command made me really enjoy being at Grand Forks. Also being from Florida and having never seen snow prior to here made me see this as a very cool base!
