Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving is important to me because I am able to help my country and family be secure against those who would wish us harm.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of standing up our new Global Hawk program here. I came to Grand Forks when the program was in its infancy; it didn't have any capability to do a single flight, much less a full blown mission. I have been able to do my job successfully while standing up a key mission in our global Air Force.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is learning all the different components and challenges that we must overcome to make them all work together as a single unit.

Who inspires you and why?
A person who has struck me as worth emulation recently is President Theodore Roosevelt. President Roosevelt lived his slogan, "Speak softly but carry a big stick." This can be seen in his Great White Fleet tour, completion of the Panama Canal and winning of the Noble Peace Prize for his work in the Russo-Japanese war negotiation. I would love to be remembered as a man who had big goals and was then able to see them through to completion.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
I enjoy Grand Forks because every time I work with the community I am almost always flooded with gratitude and thanks for the work that I enjoy doing.
