Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?  I've wanted to join the military and serve my country since I was 15 years old. I initially wanted to follow in my brother's footsteps and enlist in the Army, but after listening to their stories about raking rocks and painting trees, I decided the Air Force was the right choice for me.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?  Earning my promotion to master sergeant has been by far my best accomplishment. Being part of the senior NCO corps is a true honor and privilege.

What is your favorite part of your job?  Without question, the people are the best part of my job. As the squadron superintendent, I get to meet and talk with every new Airman assigned to the squadron.

Who inspires you and why?  My family inspires me and encourages me to work hard every day.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?  The awesome support my family and I received when we arrived here at Grand Forks Air Force Base. We came here on a humanitarian assignment back in 2008 and my husband's first sergeant made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed in order to focus on our family matters. I knew then that this was going to be a great place to live and work.
