1. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?

Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it allows me to provide for my family while doing something I enjoy and serves a greater purpose in protecting the freedoms of our country.

2. What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?

Becoming a Warrior of the North is the moment that I was most proud of not just because this is a great base to work at, but because it meant I would finally be reunited with wife and daughter. I was physically separated from them for two years, so I was very thankful because being stationed here allowed for that period to finally be over.

3. What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is getting to interact with people from every part of the base. I enjoy talking to others and getting to know new people.

4. Who inspires you and why?

My wife, Laura and daughter, Kyleigh, inspire me because I know no matter what is going on in life they will be there for me. They show me just what really matters in life, and it is not the frivolous things that people seem to care about so much these days, but the people around you who love and care about you, and would do anything to make your life better.

5. What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?

The base is located in state that offers great opportunities to do different types of outdoor activities. Ice fishing is one of the coolest things about this place. I had never done it before I moved here and it is something that I have had a blast doing since I have been here.
