Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I value my family tradition of military service. For many generations there have been a few of us that have served in different branches of the Armed Forces.

What's one moment or accomplishment you are you most proud of and why?
I would have to say a couple of my proudest moments as a Warrior of the North are when I was part of the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard Team, or deploying with the KC-135s and seeing what an impact the tankers have overseas and abroad.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is when an aircraft takes off after using the support equipment that I help maintain.

Who inspires you and why?
I am very inspired by my grandfather's story. He served 17 years in the Air Force, from 1960 to 1977. It was a different Air Force then, and that generation definitely helps me keep things in perspective.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
I like the great outdoors such as fishing, hunting, trail riding and Grand Forks Air Force Base puts all those opportunities on my doorstep.
