Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it allows me to be part of something great. I'm doing my part and becoming something more, becoming a better person.

What moment or accomplishment as a Warrior of the North are you most proud of and why?
My most recent accomplishment as a Warrior of the North was earning the Distinguished Graduate award at the NCO Academy at Keesler AFB, Miss. I feel this is a great accomplishment; I learned a lot at the NCOA and hope to put that knowledge to great use.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love the hands-on aspect that comes with my job. Helping people who really need medical attention is a great feeling. As an NCOIC, my favorite part is training our new Airmen and passing on that knowledge to make them great medics.

Who inspires you and why?
My children and husband inspire me to do better and want more for me and my family.

What's the first thing that made you think Grand Forks Air Force Base was a cool place other than the temperature or weather?
The first thing that came to mind was the small community feeling. With Grand Forks being a smaller base, people have more opportunities to get out and be seen. Whether we are talking about work related situations or personal/family situations, being at a smaller base makes it easier to network and build relations with people across the base. That is one of the cool things about being at a smaller base.
