The Judge's Bench: August and September UCMJ Actions

The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in August and September 2013:

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions

An Airman First Class from the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for failure to refrain from consuming alcohol while under the age of 21. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman, restrictions to the limits of Grand Forks Air Force Base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An Airman First Class from the 319th Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty and failure to go. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman, suspended reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeitures of $250 per month for two months and a reprimand.

An Airman First Class from the 319th Force Support Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty. The following punishment was imposed: Suspended reduction to the grade of Airman, forfeitures of $849 per month for two months and a reprimand. During the suspension period, a vacation action was served for dereliction of duty. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman.

A Master Sergeant from the Air Force Central Recruiting Squadron received an Article 15 for falsifying official recruiting documents. The following punishment was imposed: Suspended reduction to the grade of technical sergeant, forfeitures of $500 and a reprimand.
