March 31 - Schools closed, no duty except for storm essential personnel

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Due to blizzard conditions projected this morning and into the afternoon, only storm essential personnel will report or remain on duty on March 31.

All other Grand Forks personnel will not report for duty today. Grand Forks AFB is also in Road Condition Yellow and the speed limit is now 20 MPH.

Base schools and Grand Forks Central High School are closed as well as all after school activities are canceled.

The base promotion ceremony scheduled for today is postponed.
