The Judge's Bench: May UCMJ actions Published June 9, 2014 By 319th Air Base Wing Office of the Staff Judge Advocate GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The following members of the 319 ABW were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in May 2014: Nonjudicial Punishment Actions A senior airman from the 319th Operations Support Squadron received an Article 15 for driving under the influence. The 319th OSS commander imposed the following punishment: reduction to the grade of airman1st class, suspended forfeiture of $1,017 per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 319th Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty, being AWOL, and making a false official statement. The 319th CES commander imposed the following punishment: reduction to the grade of airman basic, restriction to base for 45 days, 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An airman 1st class from the 319th Security Forces Squadron had a portion of the suspended punishment vacated for failing to go. The 319th SFS commander vacated the following suspension: 30 days extra duty.
