Luis Loza Gutierrez 319th Air Base Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Forty Warriors of North were selected for promotion and will eventually join the NCO ranks in Air Force. The following senior airmen were selected for promotion to the rank of staff sergeant. Acton, Tyler Beavers, Anthony Bredin, Michael Cherry, Stephen Chronister, Nicholas Coonich, Joshua erickson, Christian Ffrench, Brittany Gerard, Justin Green, Caleb Harper, Dan Hoff, Robert Holt, Bailey Hornbaker, Lauren Kadoun, Lhee Kenn, Joshua Kuhn, Ryan Leyble, Marilou Lovett, John Lyons, Christopher Moreland, Anna Murphy, Michael Price, Vincent Rhone, Lionel Robertson, Dominic Romero, Kristina Schaeffer, Amanda Silmon, Alexandra Simmons, Taylor Sloan, Mallory Suazo, Matthew Tate, Kirk Thompson, Jacob Tiffany, Brandon Traver, Jay Trosen, Ernest Vicinu, Kyle Waaraniemi, Aaron Wencel, Steven Young, Raymond Air Force officials selected 9,403 of 36,739 eligible senior airmen for promotion to staff sergeant for a selection rate of 25.59 percent. "This is truly a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the hard work that you have exhibited throughout your career and especially here at Grand Forks Air Force Base," said Col. Paul Bauman, 319th Air Base Wing commander. " Thanks for what you are all doing for our Air Force. Because together, we are the Warriors of the North...Fightin' from the Forks!" Those selected for staff sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in September. Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, within 10 days of the promotion release date.
