Davis 319th Air Base Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE N.D. -- The Air Mobility Command Inspector General Unit Effectiveness Inspection Capstone team completed the wing's first-ever UEI this week, and the results are in. Wing members were evaluated in four major areas, including executing the mission, managing resources, leading people, and improving the unit. According to Col. Paul Bauman, 319th Air Base Wing commander, the team found the following: Executing the Mission: Highly Effective Managing Resources: Effective Leading People: Effective Improving the Unit: Effective "This puts us right on par with the rest of the Air Force and is further validation that we are getting the mission done here at Grand Forks," Bauman said in a base-wide message. "Each and every unit within the wing provided timely and candid feedback and the IG was extremely pleased with how the individual interviews went. The Warriors of the North left a lasting impression on the AMC team and every Airman deserves recognition for that." Bauman also extended a special thanks to all those involved in the preparation for and accommodation of the AMC IG team. "Our IG team did a fantastic job in readying our units," he said. "But the week would not have been a success without support of each and every one of you."
