GFAFB hosts 2015 Autocross Event

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Members of Grand Forks Air Force Base and the local Grand Forks community compete in the 2015 Autocross event Sept. 5 and 6, 2015. The event was sponsored by the Sports Car Club of America, a club and sanctioning body supporting road racing, rallying and autocross in the U.S. formed in 1944. About 60 individuals participated in the event which raised more than $1,800 in proceeds for Project Lifesaver, a non-profit organization that specializes in the search and rescue of individuals with cognitive disorders.
