319th Reconnaissance Wing holds 23E5 release party Published Aug. 14, 2023 By Airman First Class Raisa Christie 319th Reconnaissance Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- A staff sergeant release party celebrating 60 senior airmen selected to promote to the rank of staff sergeant was held Aug. 11, 2023. Air Force officials selected 9,000 Air Force senior airmen for promotion to staff sergeant in the 23E5 promotion cycle, which included supplemental promotion opportunities. U.S. Air Force Col. Timothy Monroe, wing commander for the 319th Reconnaissance Wing and Chief Master Sgt. Carl Vogel, command chief for the 319th Reconnaissance Wing, presided over the event and presented the selectees with their gifts of recognition.
