Airmen, civilians and contractors here believe that we have an obligation to be good stewards of the environment, not just during Earth Week, but every week. Earth Week is an opportunity to recommit ourselves to wisely managing our natural resources. Recycling helps conserve energy, prevent greenhouse gas emissions and water pollutants, and decrease the need for new landfills and incinerators.

By taking steps to reduce waste and re-use materials, we can save precious natural resources, enhance the beauty of our communities, and add to the health and prosperity of our nation.

Get involved in the celebration by giving back to your earth. Here are some upcoming Earth Week activities to be involved in on base.
