Paul Croxon 319th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, ND -- The 319th Operations Support Squadron beat the 319th Maintenance Squadron, 3-0, in intramural soccer April 19 at the fitness center here. Jacob Dieter and Steven Dougherty all snuck in goals past the MXS goalie. Unfortunately, MXS was unable to answer the OSS assault, handing the game to OSS. In game two, the 319th Medical Group bested the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron, 6-3. Med. Group's Francisco Flores and Richard Thorpe both landed two goals. Nicole Rios and Alex Breceda both slammed Med. Group's fifth and sixth goals in. CE answered the Med. Group's attack with Joseph Cullinan scoring on MDG. Not to be bettered by his teammate, Michael Botkin landed a pair of goals but it wasn't enough to stop the win-crazed medics. The final game was forfeited by the 319th Communication Squadron before they had the chance to play the 319th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron . This was the second forfeit of the season for 319 CS, permanently eliminating them from competition.
