The men and women of the 10th Space Warning Squadron at Cavalier AFS, N.D., would like to invite everyone to attend our sixth Open House Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Some of the day's events will include a tour of the radar facility, a mission briefing and a video on the site's history.

The North Dakota Army National Guard and Cavalier AFS fire department will both have displays, the Grand Forks Air Force Base Security Forces Squadron will give a demonstration, and there will be fly-bys of military aircraft. The Air Force jazz band "The Notables" is scheduled to perform from 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Children are encouraged to attend. McGruff the Crime Dog will be there, along with a free photo-and-fingerprint ID card booth. For more information, call Master Sgt. Kevin Gunnip at 701-993-3264. We hope to see you all there!
