Suspension of CLEP and DSST Testing CONUS Wide August 1 through September 30 Published July 23, 2009 By Education and Training Center GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Please be advised, due to funding issues, DANTES will suspend all paper-based CLEP and DSST testing CONUS wide, including Grand Forks AFB, from August 1 through September 30. The Base Education and Training Center has been authorized to allow Military members to take the computer based CLEP and DSST tests offered at the University of North Dakota during August 1 through September 30. These tests will be fully funded, and the $15 sitting fee that UND charges will be reimbursed by the Air Force. For those Military members who would like to complete their CCAF degree to meet the August 28 deadline for the Fall 2009 Graduating class, this may be a perfect opportunity since unofficial results are scored instantly. CCAF may receive the official transcript from DANTES a few weeks earlier than the paper-based. A reminder to members retiring/separating, your CCAF requirements must be completed prior to your DOS in order to earn your CCAF degree. To sign up for CLEP and DSST testing between August 1 through September 30, please call UND at 777-4157. For more information on this or your CCAF degree or what tests will work for your degree, please stop in or call the Base Education and Training Center at 747-3316.
