Michael Longoria 319th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 319th Air Refueling Wing commander recently released a new policy on the wear of blues uniforms for Warriors of the North. Col. Donald L. Shaffer, 319th ARW commander, determined that the severe winter weather conditions prevalent in Grand Forks, N.D., and the surrounding areas, limit when the Air Force Blues uniform will be the 319th Air Refueling Wing uniform of the day. Effective Dec. 1 through March 31, 2010, any combination of the blues uniform will only be worn as a duty uniform when directed by unit commanders or agency chiefs.
