Public Affairs sets new studio hours Published Dec. 10, 2009 By Senior Airman R. Michael Longoria 319th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 319th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs recently set new hours of operation for the photo studio. All official and passport photos will be taken Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon by appointment only. "Just give us a call and we will make you an appointment during one of the four time slots available," said 2nd Lt. Anastasia D. Wasem, 319th ARW Public Affairs chief. The change occurred to free up base photographers to accomplish other mission requirements. "It might be cold but there is a lot going on throughout the wing," said Lieutenant Wasem. "We are trying to free our photographers schedule so they can capture what this wing does day to day." The level of customer service is expected to remain the same. "We might be limiting the hours but we will continue to provide outstanding customer service to anyone who needs a photo taken," said Lieutenant Wasem. The Public Affairs office understands that everyone has varying schedules and will work to accommodate any request. "We realize there will be times that photos will need to be done out of these time frames," said Staff Sgt. Christine N. Collier, 319th ARW Public Affairs NCO in charge. "We will do our best to help anyone get the photos they need in a timely manner." Passport and visa photos take approximately 15 minutes. Official photos may take up to 45 minutes.
