The Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre will hold open auditions for St. Bette's, a drama by Kathy Coudle King January 18 and 19 at 7pm at the Fire Hall Theatre.

There is nothing to prepare and auditions will be by cold reading.

This will be the regional premiere of the compelling drama by local playwright King, and will be directed by Dr. Adonica Schultz Aune.

St. Bette's takes place forty years ago where four women enter a "home for un-wed mothers." St. Bette's is that home, and this is their story. Each women feels this is her only choice. Unmarried, young, no financial means, burgeoning professional dreams, reckless behavior, and love have brought them to this house. Some want to keep their babies. One, because of her disability, is not allowed. What is choice when there are no options?

The production will be March 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday Matinees March 7 and 14 at 2 p.m.
