The Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps will unveil the new Air Force Legal Assistance Web site, www.aflegalassistance.com, Feb 1.

The Web site can be used to create a will, power of attorney or simply to answer a legal question.

The Web site was created with the hope of increasing efficiency and will be used to track client satisfaction with the Air Force legal assistance program. Conveniently, clients may access the site's features from their own home as it is a public Web site.

The Web site was designed with active-duty, reserve, retirees and dependents in mind.

It is important to note that this Web site provides information for educational and general information purposes only and cannot replace legal advice obtained from a licensed attorney. Also, legal documents cannot be printed from the Web site and must be obtained at an Air Force legal office.

The Grand Forks Air Force Base legal office encourages people to look at the Web site the next time a legal need arises, but wants people to feel free to visit the office if more information is required.

For questions or more information contact the Grand Forks AFB legal office at (701) 747-3606.
