The Judge's Bench: November court-martial and article 15's

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE N.D. --  The following members of the 319th Air Refueling Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice November.

Court

· Master Sgt. Jamie M. Davidson, from the 319th Operations Support Squadron, was tried in civilian court and pled guilty to drunk driving. The following sentence was imposed: Fine of $600, 30 days in jail, of which 30 days were suspended, a requirement to complete a chemical dependency evaluation within 30 days, a prohibition from using or possessing alcohol until the required evaluation was completed and a requirement to attend a "Victim Impact Panel."

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions

· An airman basic from the 319th Communications Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty for going to sleep in his room while assigned bay orderly duties and also for wrongful use of oxycodone. The following punishment was imposed: Restriction to Grand Forks Air Force Base for 30 days and 30 days extra duty.

· An airman basic from the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron received an Article 15 for wrongful use and distribution of "Spice." The following punishment was imposed: Forfeiture of $723 pay, restriction to Grand Forks AFB for 30 days and 30 days extra duty.

· An airman 1st class from the 319th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for drunk driving. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of AB, restriction to Grand Forces AFB for 30 days and 30 days extra duty.

· An airman 1st class from the 319th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for engaging in an unprofessional relationship with a Tech. Sgt. and for adultery. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman and forfeiture of $811 for two months (the forfeiture was suspended for 6 months).

· A Tech. Sgt. from the 319th Aircraft maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for engaging in an unprofessional relationship with an airman 1st class and for adultery. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of SSgt and forfeiture of $1,462.00 for two months (the forfeiture was suspended for 6 months).
