The Judge's Bench: February UCMJ actions

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The following members of the 319th ABW were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in February 2011.

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions:
· An A1C from the 319 CS received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty in failing to maintain proper control of his prescription medications. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended for six months), restriction to Grand Forks AFB for 30 days and a reprimand.

· An A1C from the 319 FSS received an Article 15 for drunk driving. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended for six months), forfeiture of $750.00 pay per month for two months, 45 days of extra duties and a reprimand.

· An A1C from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for failure to go to Honor Guard. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended for six months), 30 days of extra duties and restriction to Grand Forks AFB for 15 days.

· A SrA from the 319 CES received an Article 15 for wrongful use of marijuana. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman Basic.

· A SrA from the 319 SFS received an Article 15 for failure to go and being drunk on duty. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Airman (the reduction below the grade of Airman First Class was suspended for six months) forfeiture of $822.00 pay per month for 2 months (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

· A SSgt from the 319 LRS received an Article 15 for failure to go to an Airman Leadership School class. The following punishment was imposed: Reduction to the grade of Senior Airman and a reprimand.
