Maj. Frank N. Reyes assumed command of the 319th Security Forces Squadron during a change-of-command ceremony here June 23.

"What an honor it is for me to serve alongside the men and women of the 319th SFS," said Major Reyes, a lieutenant colonel select. "I look forward to our time together and our continued commitment of integrity, service and excellence."

During the ceremony, Major Reyes grabbed the reins from Lt. Col. Jereme A. Barrett, who will travel south to lead the enforcers at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.

"I am thankful for the warm welcome from all the Warriors of the North and would also like to thank [Colonel Barrett] all for your dedicated service to this squadron over the past two years," Major Reyes said.

Col. Tammy Knierim, 319th Mission Support Group commander, officiated the ceremony.

"Today we say goodbye to a commander who can take pride in what he has accomplished," said Colonel Knierim. "And now we welcome another eager officer to do the same."
