The Judge's Bench: June UCMJ actions

GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  The following members of the 319th Air Base Wing were punished under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in June 2011:

Nonjudicial Punishment Actions

· An Airman 1st Class from the 319th Logistics Readiness Squadron received an Article 15 for dereliction of duty in which he was being paid BAH and BAS when he was not entitled to the allowances and failed to take corrective action to adjust his pay. The following punishment was imposed: 30 days of extra duty, restriction to Grand Forks Air Force Base for 30 days, reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended for 6 months) and a reprimand.

· An Airman 1st Class from the 319th Civil Engineering Squadron received an Article 15 for drunk driving. The following punishment was imposed: reduction to the grade of Airman Basic, with reduction below the grade of Airman suspended for six months.
